Pidgin之前叫Gaim,Aol介入之后改名为现在的Pidgin,是一款支持多IM协议的软件,Pidgin允许你同时使用多个IM账号.目前Pidgin支持QQ,MSN,Yahoo等(更多)多个即时通讯软件.Pidgin支持XMPP,XMPP的前身是Jabber,一个开源形式组织产生的网络即时通信协议.Gtalk官方帮助中有关于jabber的支持.
重新设计了界面,具有新的头像和最佳的管理系统状态.
